so while most of you were busy watching tengen toppa gurren lagann about the same amount totally missed this masterpiece of animation, gainax studio's gunbuster 2.
tightest work of theirs to date ( that's right, i said it). i had been anticipating this for a bit, but six episodes later i was floored. left me with a feeling of satisfaction i haven't gotten from anime EVER.
once again, the designs were intimidating to say the least. but now that this is out of the way all i have left to bust out is that evangelion piece that's been over shadowing me for years now. i gotta be honest.... that shit scares me.

i like the background on this. it looks slick with the lineart characters. so you think it's their best hguh? well an important question must then follow... did you like FLCL better than Eva? your answer determines the credibility behind your potentially worthless opinion...
but that sort of thing matters not, when you are the anal enf0rcer of badass pen skills. which i wish i was.
